Lasting Memories 197 - Sketch Challenge - "Explore the Beach" layout.

Yay!  I scrapped!  It's been a while.  It's time for the next and final challenge for JUNE to start over at LASTING MEMORIES  And it's a SKETCH challenge. I personally love those.   I STILL had some photos from a weekend trip we all took to Ocean Shores in 2011.  We had so much fun that I think I have 6 layouts dedicated to the adventure.  I also still had some of the "SPLASH" collection from Little Yellow Bicycle to use up.   Had a lot of fun with this one. You have until JULY 4th to enter this challenge and ALL the challenges for JUNE. Get Scrapping!!  :)

And... there is also a "Mood Board" challenge over at  SCRAPSTUFFZ INSPIRED BY CHALLENGES Specfically, this challenge had me zero in on the different rainbow of colors used in the word SUMMER.  So I did my title accordingly.  :) This challenge ends 6/30 Monday evening.

Happy "50th" masculine B-Day card

Hello friends!!  It's not every day or even every month for that matter, that I make a masculine card.  They challenge me to no end.  I like frills and fluff... so had to put my thinking cap on for this one. My Mom needed a Poker/Casino type themed card for a friend that is turning the big 50!  I think I pretty much love how this turned out.  These ideas come to me in my sleep.  Go figure.  I could be thinking of worse things.  :)

So... most of the products used here are from Stampin' Up.  Cardstock, border punch, circle punch, "rectangle" hand held punch, white gel pen, real red marker and the Birthday sentiment.

The "50" are stickers from my stash and the card image is from google images.  :)  Gotta love the internet and a printer.  I did make that Poker Chip with my own 2 hands.  White and Red circle punch overlapped on each other with thin white gel pen lines in the center and the thicker white dashes are and OLD retired hand held punch from SU.

I used the MOJO Monday 348 sketch for my inspiration.

It's a contest this week as well.  :)

And I would also like to enter my card into "Splendiferous Creations" Blogger challenge. 

The challenge is to make a "MASCULINE" card.  

Yep... my challenge alright.
